When most people hear the name Bryan Hitch, they likely think of impactful, eye-grabbing art on an epic scale. However, as anyone who’s been reading his JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA knows, Hitch is just as adept at scripting action-packed tales driven by a deep understanding of the characters within them. JLA launched a year ago with a thoughtful debut arc that found Superman and the Justice League battling an enemy who used faith and belief as a weapon—the Kryptonian “god” known as Rao.
We’re now a full month into Rebirth, and if you’ve been reading, you’ve gotten a pretty good taste of it by now. Whether you’ve spent the last month speculating about Gotham and Gotham Girl, wondering how Metropolis is going to solve its Supermen problem or swooning over Ollie and Dinah fighting alongside each other again, you’ve hopefully had a very fun and fulfilling month as a DC fan.
With Rebirth now in full swing and so many exciting new titles to try, we can’t blame anyone for needing a reminder of what happened in the last issue.
