Ambitious as always, Barry insists upon re-opening the breaches in order to get to Zoom—who, by the way, has a pretty tragic backstory. Harry helps Cisco fine tune his powers so that he can use them to control the breaches, and Barry uses his fancy tachyon device to get the upper hand. (Where can we get a tachyon device? Do you think they sell them at Sharper Image?) Barry’s new extra speedy skills have to be enough to stop Zoom... right?

The Multiversity: Origins

All week long we’ve been celebrating The Multiversity, Grant Morrison’s new series set within the DC Multiverse. While it’s possible to enjoy the comic without being familiar with the Multiverse, it can’t hurt to at least know where the idea comes from, and some of the pre-existing comics that have close ties to The Multiversity.

However, before we even get into where the Multiverse comes from, we suppose we should first explain what it is for anyone out there who may be new to the concept.

DC COMICS CREATORS AT MEGACON THIS WEEKEND

MegaCon officially kicks off today in Orlando, Florida, and there will be several DC Comics creators in attendance. DC Entertainment Co-Publisher Dan DiDio and Executive Editor Eddie Berganza will share behind-the-scenes insights at today’s DC ALL ACCESS panel, and will host another panel tomorrow to discuss DC COMICS-THE NEW 52. But that’s not all.
