This has been such a monumental week for DC Comics. What we launched with (the already sold out!) JUSTICE LEAGUE #1 was absolutely amazing. And what’s more exciting still is that it was just a first taste of what’s to come.
Mysteries deepen as secrets begin pouring out. Hidden identities begin to reveal themselves. Alliances form on both sides of good and evil. And as new villains launch attacks, new heroes will emerge onto the scene. This November, nothing is off limits.

This fall, a new era begins for Oliver Queen. We caught up with GREEN ARROW penciller Dan Jurgens about working on the series’ art with industry legend George Perez.
“Once upon a time, I was asked to draw an issue of Teen Titans because the book's usual artist, George Perez, needed a break,” Dan told us. “Marv Wolfman was the writer, and one of the things his script asked for was a double page spread with so much detail that it would ‘make George Perez jealous’.
Green Lantern and Green Arrow have faced many unexpected challenges before, but nothing compares to what they face in DC RETROACTIVE: GREEN LANTERN – THE '70s. Hal Jordan seems to be reliving his past as a strange purple alien crash-lands on Earth with a special message. Meanwhile, Oliver Queen’s past returns to haunt him as those around him are shot by arrows sent by a mysterious archer.
During today’s Designing the New DCU 52 panel at SDCC, attendees were invited to see how characters are designed to how they end up looking in the final pages of a comic book. Below, take a look at the art we showed during this presentation for such titles as ALL-STAR WESTERN, ANIMAL MAN, BATGIRL, BIRDS OF PREY, THE FLASH, GREEN ARROW, THE SAVAGE HAWKMAN, I, VAMPIRE, LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES, RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS, SUICIDE SQUAD, SUPERBOY, SUPERGIRL, SUPERMAN and TEEN TITANS.
