Before the newly formed Justice League can figure out what happened to their memories, the Cadmus Corporation controlling their mission sends them into the darkness of Commonwealth space. And it’s not just their memories that seem half-formed. Their powers aren’t exactly what they remember them to be, either. A Superman that can’t fly? A Green Lantern without a ring?
When new weekly series THE NEW 52: FUTURES END was announced last month via the ASSOCIATED PRESS, not many details were revealed. Fans learned that characters Batman Beyond, Frankenstein and Firestorm, would be involved and that the story would take place 5 years from the current DC Universe storyline.
Yesterday, DC ENTERTAINMENT announced THE NEW 52: FUTURES END will be one of their Free Comic Book Day titles for 2014. In addition, TEEN TITANS GO! #1 will be available at participating comic shops across the country for children of all ages.
So get ready for Free Comic Book Day 2014, which takes place the first Saturday of May!
Today, the ASSOCIATED PRESS announced that DC Comics will be publishing a
new weekly comic book series titled THE NEW 52: FUTURES END. Written by
Jeff Lemire, Dan Jurgens, Keith Giffen and Brian Azzarello THE NEW 52:
FUTURES END is set five years in the future.
Launching in stores across the country on Free Comic Book Day in May 2014,
this series will be accessible to current fans and new readers alike.
