Arrow: No White Hat

There was a TV show in the late 1950’s and early 60’s called The Rifleman. It was a Western that revolved around a rancher, Lucas McCain (Chuck Connors), raising his son Mark in the New Mexico territory of 1870’s.

I watch the reruns all the time.

Why?

Arrow: Daughter of the Demon

This past Monday, I popped dinner in the oven and flipped on the tube. I was looking to unwind from the daily grind. I did the standard channel surfing game for bit and decided to check out what I had saved on the old DVR.

To my delight, I had an episode of Comic Book Men. I don’t go much for the “reality” shows, but I dig this one—as I’m a fan of Kevin Smith and the View Askewniverse.

Arrow: About That Reveal...

Wow…well, it looks like I have my work cut out for me tonight—even though I was hoping for impeachment. :)

But be honest, who saw tonight’s reveal coming? Quite the shocker!

Let’s discuss and break down what happened. And I’m going to put a big SPOILER ALERT here for anyone who hasn’t yet watched the episode. Time to peace out until you’ve seen it.

Okay, for those of you still here, let’s talk about “Fighting Fire with Fire’s” big turn:

Curtis’ husband slapped him with divorce papers!

Arrow: We're Back, Baby!

Welcome back, guys!

Hope everyone had a nice break. I’m trying to thaw out from the frigid Midwest cold and ice, but ready to bring this column to you.

I guess the best place to start would be with the obvious: Laurel!

Errr… fake Laurel, that is.

I sort of thought something was up when we saw her at the end of last episode. Part of me believed it could really be her, but another (bigger) part of me knew it had to be some kind of work.

Arrow: Don't Call it a Rebuild

Wow…

Oftentimes in sports, when an organization is struggling and has a string of bad years, they’ll do what’s called a rebuild—trading guys away in order to get pieces back that they feel can develop and complement some existing players into a winning product years down the line.  It’s often a touchy subject, as most organizations never want to admit they’re in rebuild mode and the fans don’t want to have to “suffer” through the growing pains of young players and a team that can be a mess for the next few seasons.

Arrow - Comic-Con 2016 Highlight Reel and Season 5 First Look

Arrow dialed up the anticipation for its fifth season at Comic-Con 2016 when fans in attendance were treated to an exclusive sizzle reel during the show’s panel session in Ballroom 20 on Saturday, July 23. The annual, and always on point, SDCC highlight reel featured first looks at Team Arrow 2.0 recruits Evelyn Sharp and Wild Dog, and closed with the shocking revelation of its Season 5 “Big Bad,” Prometheus, which left the audience quivering for the show’s return Wednesday, October 5, at 8/7c on The CW.
