We’ve got a simple good news/bad news situation for you all this morning. Bad news: Artist Cameron Stewart won’t be handling the art chores on the fourth issue of BATMAN: THE RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE. We’ll have more Cameron news, however, in the coming months, so — as usual — keep it locked here at The Source. So, wait. That’s not bad news at all.
And we’ve got something extra for you.
It’s all been building to this, folks. Bruce Wayne – Batman – has been lost in time and believed dead by his closest allies. His former sidekick has taken the cowl. Gotham remains under constant assault. But the question remains: where – or when – is Batman? BATMAN: THE RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE #1 launches a special, six-issue event that chronicles the return of the original Dark Knight, springing from the mind of writer Grant Morrison. With each issue spanning a different era of time and featuring the dynamic artwork of a different, A-list comic book artist.
We’ll have a first look at BATMAN: THE RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE #1 later this week, but to tide you over until then, we’ve got a new image for you to enjoy. While, as most of you know, superstar artist Andy Kubert is handling cover duties for the entire series, the variants are being provided by each issue’s interior artist. You’ve seen the variants to #1 and #2 in this space already, but why stop there? Here’s Pirate Batman in all his glory, courtesy of artist Yanick Paquette:
Grant Morrison and artist Andy Clarke continue to roll in the second part of the “Batman vs. Robin” arc, as the Dynamic Duo fight it out in the ultimate death duel. But what happens when Damian’s mother Talia sends out an old enemy to finish the job her young son couldn’t stomach? BATMAN AND ROBIN #11 hits 4/7. [gallery link="file" columns="4"]

Rising star artist Andy Clarke joins writer Grant Morrison just in time to see the new Dark Knight face off against the new Boy Wonder -- thanks to the manipulations of Ms. Talia al Ghul. But is everything as it seems? Probably not. Hopefully the pages below can serve as a bit of a clue. And did I mention this issue ties in directly to THE RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE? Well, it does. BATMAN AND ROBIN #10 hits 3/10. [gallery link="file" columns="4"]
Well, we weren't going to leave you hanging there, especially considering the reaction to the first four covers we debuted here on The Source.
