Holy casting news, Batman!
Pardon our excitement, but this new Titans casting announcement has got us pretty fired up.
Robin has said many times that Jon Kent, AKA Superboy, is too young for the Teen Titans. After all, he’s not technically a teen. Well, that’s getting pretty hard to buy into seeing how Robin is no longer one either. After their run-in with a mysterious trio of villains last month, Damian Wayne has found himself with a sudden case of the olds, and if he’s going to have any hope of reversing the clock and losing the liver spots, he’s going to need Superboy’s help. And maybe a good hip brace.
Fortunately, unless you’re also a half-demon, you’re free to get emotional about this news. Titans, the new live action series coming to DC’s digital streaming network, has cast its first member—Raven.
“When I look at you, I see the story in your eeeeyes…”
If that line has you scratching your head, then you have yet to be exposed to the greatest pop song in the known universe (at least according to Cyborg). We are, of course, talking about “The Night Begins to Shine” by B.E.R., a slice of ’80s-inspired electro-soul that is extremely well known to fans of Teen Titans Go!
If you missed my discussion of the first Titans Rebirth collection, then you missed me confessing that I love the Teen Titans more than almost anything in the comic book sphere. Just so you know that this is where my bias is coming from.
Alright guys, after four weeks of mayhem and betrayal, “The Lazarus Contract” is coming to a close. Though we may have avoided a complete and total cosmic crisis, the course of not one, not two, but three ongoing books has just been altered, for better or for worse.
This week part three of “The Lazarus Contract” hit the pages of Deathstroke and things are finally starting to fall into place.
...Which may or may not be a good thing for just about everyone involved.
