Every day until the start of Comic-Con, we’re bringing you something cool to help you count down the days to the start of the big show. Last week we debuted our new Comic-Con print ads. This fall, JUSTICE LEAGUE #13 will introduce a legendary villain to DC COMICS-THE NEW 52: The Cheetah. The first of a two-issue chapter, the story comes to you from the creative team of writer Geoff Johns and guest artist Tony S. Daniel.
The Joker has gone missing from Arkham Asylum, but not even Batman can comprehend the grisly evidence the notorious madman left behind. Something strange and terrible is happening in Gotham City, and it all seems to revolve around a new villain known as Dollmaker.
With anticipation for May’s “The Night of the Owls” crossover building across the extended Bat-family, DETECTIVE COMICS will also now be part of the greater battle for Gotham City. Written by Tony S. Daniel and illustrated by Daniel and Sandu Florea, the issue finds the sinister secret society targeting one of Gotham’s most iconic institutions. “In DETECTIVE #9, Batman finds himself in the unlikeliest of situations—saving Arkham Asylum administrator Jeremiah Arkham from a mysterious Talon assailant,” said Mike Marts, BATMAN Series editor.
