FLASHPOINT FRIDAY: “You have got us into a war that was never necessary.”

In the final issue of FLASHPOINT: WONDER WOMAN AND THE FURIES, the origins of the scheming plans behind the war of the Amazons and the Atlanteans are revealed. When Diana learns how she has been betrayed, it’ll be up to her to convince Aquaman to retreat his troops and stop the looming war. But if all goes according to Orm and Penthesilea’s plans, Arthur will be too blinded by his need for revenge to listen.

Wonder Woman watercolor by Jill Thompson As Seen at SDCC

The talented writer/artist Jill Thompson (Deliruim's Party: A Little Endless Story Book, Sandman) took to the stage in the DC Entertainment Booth on the last day of the San Diego Comic-Convention and awed the crowd with her rendition of Wonder Woman.

In a step by step process the crowd intensely watched as Jill transformed a blank piece of paper into the gorgeous image below, which she graciously signed and gave to a fan that had the closest birth date to hers.
