For months, the two elemental sides of life in the DC Universe – the Red and the Green – have been coming together to defeat the Rot. This month, issues #17 of ANIMAL MAN and SWAMP THING serve as the official “Rotworld” finales. And in March, issues #18 of both series will be “Rotworld” epilogues, marking the ultimate conclusion for this monumental crossover event.
But what kinds of repercussions will the grand finale of “Rotworld” have on ANIMAL MAN and SWAMP THING?
If you love the color green and you love people that shoot other people with arrows—and the idea of those two things together gets you more excited than Wonder Woman at a sword sale—then slip on an extra pair of your excitement pants because right now, it’s all about Oliver Queen, the Green Arrow.

Back in October, you got a taste of writer Jeff Lemire’s interpretation of Oliver Queen when he co-wrote the back-up story in JUSTICE LEAGUE #13 with Geoff Johns. And starting next month, Lemire’s new writing duties on GREEN ARROW kick off with issue #17, further expanding his gritty and noir take on the Justice League of America member.
