EXCLUSIVE: The World of Metal Expands in Dark Knights Rising: The Wild Hunt

During the DARK NIGHTS: METAL panel last weekend at New York Comic Con, in the midst of talking about The New Age of Heroes and the impact Metal is having on the DC Universe, the panelists announced a mysterious new Metal one-shot that will be hitting stands in February. Called DARK KNIGHTS RISING: THE WILD HUNT, it will come out between the fifth and sixth issues of Metal and will feature the evil Batmen known now as the “Dark Knights.” However, little more was revealed about the book… until now.

Look alive, DC fans, we have something special for you. If you visit our site regularly, you may have noticed that we have a typical way of doing things. Unless you’re attending one of our Comic-Con panels, we usually don’t preview new comics until the art in them is largely finished.

However, we’re doing things a little different today, and giving you a look at a few comics that are still very much in progress. Why? Because we’re talking about DARK NIGHTS: METAL, that’s why.

It’s finally here! The prelude to Rebirth’s next massive crossover event, DARK NIGHTS: METAL, has officially begun with DARK DAYS: THE FORGE. And, as you probably could have guessed by the appropriately heavy naming scheme in play here, it doesn’t pull any punches.
