Valentine's Day is here once more, and we couldn't be more thrilled! Oh wait, no. The other thing. Depressed and lonely. Kidding! We're doing great. ::weeps into bowl of ice cream::
Who doesn’t love puzzles? This is a great off-line activity for the kids!
The Justice League is known for many things: uniting the World's Greatest Super Heroes under the banner of battling evil and upholding truth and justice; multiple incarnations throughout the various years featuring heroes from all across the DC Universe; even amazing animated programs and original animated films worthy of re-watch after re-watch even though you can quote every line by heart.
However, one of the best things the JL is known for: awe-inspiring fights and kick ass throwdowns against some of the biggest and baddest villains in the DC Universe.
What do you think of when you think of Aquaman? What words come to mind? If they’re anything close to “silly,” “inconsequential” or “B-level,” then you haven’t been reading Aquaman’s ongoing comic. At least not since Geoff Johns started writing it.
While Johns may not have the history with the character that he had with Green Lantern, his contribution to Aquaman is no less significant. Of course, to fully understand it, it helps to revisit what Johns has done with Arthur Curry since taking over as writer with Aquaman’s relaunch as part of The New 52.
It’s Thanksgiving week here in the States, and we can’t wait to carve into the turkey and cut off a slice of delicious pumpkin pie. Or two. Or maybe three. (Hey, Thanksgiving only comes once a year, okay?! Yeesh!)
