EXCLUSIVE: The World of Metal Expands in Dark Knights Rising: The Wild Hunt

During the DARK NIGHTS: METAL panel last weekend at New York Comic Con, in the midst of talking about The New Age of Heroes and the impact Metal is having on the DC Universe, the panelists announced a mysterious new Metal one-shot that will be hitting stands in February. Called DARK KNIGHTS RISING: THE WILD HUNT, it will come out between the fifth and sixth issues of Metal and will feature the evil Batmen known now as the “Dark Knights.” However, little more was revealed about the book… until now.

Writer Talks Working with Jeff Lemire on Upcoming INFERIOR FIVE 12-Issue Series

If you’ve ever wondered how some of your favorite creators got their start in comics, then the “Sunday Conversation” panel at NYCC was the place to be. DC Publisher Dan DiDio invited writers Cecil Castellucci (SHADE, THE CHANGING GIRL), Benjamin Percy (GREEN ARROW), Rob Williams (SUICIDE SQUAD) and Joshua Williamson (THE FLASH, Vertigo’s FROSTBITE), along with artist Yanick Paquette (WONDER WOMAN: EARTH ONE) to talk about how they broke into the business.

DOOMSDAY CLOCK ROCKS NEW YORK COMIC CON

 

ICYMI - Today at New York Comic Con, Lev Grossman, author of the #1 New York Times bestselling Magicians trilogy and former Time Magazine book critic, lead a discussion with Geoff Johns on his ambitious new comic book series DOOMSDAY CLOCK. Johns revealed the first six pages of issue #1 and provided fans with new details about the series where the Watchmen and DC universes will meet for the first time ever.  

DC TO COMMEMORATE THE 1000TH ISSUE OF ACTION COMICS WITH STAR-STUDDED CELEBRATION IN 2018

During DC’s kick off “Meet the Publishers” panel at New York Comic Con today, Publishers Dan DiDio and Jim Lee announced there will be a star-studded celebration to commemorate the 1000th issue of ACTION COMICS, the longest running and first-ever superhero comic to reach 1000! The Publishers also revealed a new commemorative logo for the celebration.

Continuing the great momentum of the empowering DC Super Hero Girls universe, DC announced today at New York Comic Con (NYCC) a new Digital First comic book series DC SUPER HERO GIRLS: PAST TIMES AT SUPER HERO HIGH. The company will also publish a third original graphic novel DC SUPER HERO GIRLS: WONDER WOMAN: SUMMER OLYMPUS in 2017.
