The countdown to San Diego Comic-Con is on!
There’s just a few more days till the colossal event, and we’re making the final touches to our special DC Collectibles BlueLine Edition Batman action figure and Krypto Plush “Con-Exclusives.” If you’re going to Comic-Con, you’ll want to grab one or both of them, so we thought we’d give you a sneak peek at where to purchase these rare items at the show.
San Diego Comic-Con kicks off this week, and from the opening of the Preview Night showroom on Wednesday to the final announcement on Sunday evening, DCComics.com will be helping you stay on top of all the exciting DC Comics news through our Con Away From Con coverage. However, this year we’re giving you more opportunities to participate from home than ever before. Provided you’re on Twitter, that is.
San Diego Comic-Con is upon us! It's a celebration of all things great—from comic books and movies to toys and video games and everything in between—but for comic fans especially, it's the chance to meet the makers, get access to exclusive items, and discover the latest news and announcements concerning your favorite heroes and titles. Consumer Products have partnered with Fetch…for pets! to produce a line of unique DC super hero-themed pet products which will be available at Petco stores in the fall. However, if you’re going to Comic-Con, you won’t have to wait till then to unleash your dog’s inner geek…
This is it. One more day until the official start of Comic-Con. As you read this, thousands of comic book professionals and fans the world over are boarding flights heading in to San Diego. They’re locking down signing schedules and confirming dinner reservations. Why? Well, if you’ve been to Comic-Con before, you know preparation is key. And the heart of preparing for Comic-Con is to have some sort of strategy.
Comic-Con is now only three days away (or two if you count preview night), and as survivors of many SDCCs past, we thought we’d help prepare those of you who are going for the first time by putting together a few Comic-Con Survival Tips. Comic-Con can be loads of fun and an experience you’ll remember for the rest of your lives, but it can also be overwhelming and many people spend an entire day just getting acclimated to the sheer scope of the show.
