DC Comics Super-Villains are front and center throughout the month of September, and not just in comics. Next week’s episode of Spike TV’s top-rated Ink Master reality competition show will feature a special villains-themed challenge complete with guest judge Greg Capullo (BATMAN). Episode 309, SKULLS AND VILLAINS, airs next Tuesday, September 10 at 10/9c.
For some, September means going back to school. For others, it means saying goodbye to summer and getting ready for the upcoming fall season. But here at DC Comics, this September means one thing: Villains Month!
Just in time for the holiday season, every Villains Month issue will be collected in a massive deluxe hardcover compilation. Like the DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 and DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 ZERO omnibus editions before it, the DC NEW 52 VILLAINS OMNIBUS will be your complete and comprehensive guide to this year’s exciting and groundbreaking September event.
Villains Month is here, and if you’ve seen our homepage today, you can tell that we’re pretty darn excited about it. Don’t get us wrong, we love our heroes. We want them to win. But the bad guys are just so much fun. You never know what to expect when it comes to our villains, so in a month where the villains have taken over all of our comics…well, the one thing we know we can expect is the unexpected!
Oh, and lots of jokes about “rounding up the villains” here in the Tuesday Roundup. You can expect that as well.
Welcome to What's New in The New 52 – where you, the fans, get a sneak peek at the stuff that crosses our desks. This little feature is a way to keep you all in the loop about what's new, different and exciting in The New 52 – whether it's a character design, cover, splash page or panel.
Following the events of this summer’s crossover “Trinity War,” a dark shadow will be cast across the DC Universe.
This September, all of the DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 titles will be replaced by Villains books. What happens when the heroes of the DC Universe fall and there’s nobody left to stop the villains from taking over? Find out this fall during Villains Month, which will spotlight 52 of the DC Universe’s biggest rogues in their own one-shots.
The Lobo you think you know doesn’t exist.
