Comic-Con may officially take place in San Diego, California, but with giveaways, star appearances, two spectacular experiences and one blockbuster Hall H panel, the city on everyone’s mind will be Gotham.
Time to start marking your calendar, Comic-Con attendees! Earlier this week, we announced a massive joint panel with Warner Bros. Television on Saturday night that will highlight the new DC shows hitting the airwaves this fall. Well, today we found out a lot more as WBTV announced their entire slate of Comic-Con panels, including standalone panels for Arrow, Constantine, iZOMBIE and Teen Titans Go!, as well as the time and location for the Saturday panel.
Are you going to Comic-Con? Then you’re going to see the World Premiere of Gotham. At least, if you’re at the show on Saturday night.
Regardless of where you live in this fine country, we hope you’re prepared to spend some serious time in Gotham. As reported earlier today, Fox has officially given Gotham, their Batman prequel series, the green light, ensuring we’ll be treated to at least one season of the eagerly awaited show.
The question of whether Edward Nygma might be appearing on Gotham is no longer a riddle. Nygma will be played by relative newcomer Cory Michael Smith in the eagerly anticipated new Fox drama set in Gotham before Bruce Wayne donned the cowl.
Last week, Warner Bros. Entertainment and Fox released the first official images from Gotham, the highly anticipated Batman prequel series currently in production. The images were a set of five character shots featuring Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle and Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot.
