Impressive as he is on his own, it’s nearly impossible to imagine Batman without the Batmobile. While the look and feel of this amazing car has changed, it’s remained one of the few constants in Batman’s arsenal. When it comes to film and TV, everyone has their favorite version of the Batmobile, whether it’s the neon-tinged, retro hip design of the Adam West Batmobile, the sleek, streamlined cruiser driven by Michael Keaton’s Dark Knight or the versatile, downright acrobatic Tumbler that Christian Bale drove so memorably in the more recent films.

Now, to celebrate the upcoming release of The Dark Knight Rises on Blu-Ray and DVD, an unprecedented collection of these awesome vehicles are on a tour of select cities, making stops at some of the biggest sporting events in the US. The tour includes all six versions of the Batmobile seen on film, as well as the equally remarkable Bat-Pod.
