What’s winter like in Gotham? Cold. Very, very cold. In fact, if you live in the city, you might want to stay indoors. We’d hate to see you freeze.

Gotham returns on Monday with a villainous new storyline and the much anticipated debut of Mr. Freeze. But if you’re looking for something to set the mood, why not dive deeper into past episodes by checking out some #DCTV Secrets?

If you’re unfamiliar with it, #DCTV Secrets is a regular feature we run here on DCComics.com after new episodes of Gotham where we unpack that evening’s episode and discuss any elements that were drawn from or inspired by comic book storylines. It’s a great way for fans of the show who may not be regular comic book readers to understand why something like the appearance of Mr. Freeze is so cool. (Okay, that’s an admittedly poor choice of words there, but you get the gist.) It’s also a great way to ensure you don’t miss out on any Easter Eggs! You did catch that Bob Kane tribute earlier this season, right?

We’ve been discussing the “secrets” found within Gotham since Season 1, so there’s plenty to discover. However, if you’ve already read most of our columns, we have a little something for you too. This morning we posted three new, never-before-seen editions of #DCTV Secrets covering episodes 3-5 of Season 2. You can find them in the carousels below, along with all of the previously existing posts.

As always, feel free to discuss any of these in the comments below, or hop on Twitter using the hashtag #DCTV to continue the conversation there. And don’t miss the return of Gotham on Monday, February 29 at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. CST) on Fox!
