She Belongs on a Reality TV Show

Queen Maxima of Almerac almost busts out of the D.E.O.'s prison thanks to Non's influence over Lucy Lane, but she doesn't get to escape. She mentions being burned by Superman, and that happened in the comics, too. Maxima made her initial appearance in ACTION COMICS #645. She traveled to Earth from Almerac looking for a mate to be the father of her heir. She had some serious standards—it could have been a reality series—and settled on no less than the Man of Steel. Needless to say, it didn’t work out, prompting Maxima to bust out her incredible psionic powers, letting Superman and the world know she is NOT to be trifled with.

A Maxima on the loose would be bad news for National City, so let’s be glad her escape was thwarted…for now.

Stick with What Works

When J'onn disguised himself as a small child, he kept with the green motif by using the color in the kid's outfit. We've called out his affinity for the cool shade before, but it's always a fun nod to his true identity.

He Just Needs to Give Up Already

Cat is overheard on the phone complaining about how Harrison Ford keeps asking her out. She says she’s not interested in older, married men, and she's over it. Of course, in non-fictional life, Calista Flockhart is actually married to Ford.
