There are only two episodes remaining of Gotham’s final season. However, that hasn’t stopped Fox from releasing an exciting new poster for the series. After all, there may only be two more episodes, but they’re crucial episodes that are set to bring the moment that fans have been eagerly anticipating since Gotham debuted back in 2014—Bruce putting on the cowl for the first time as he finally becomes Batman.

It’s a moment that the poster beautifully promises…

Yes, it’s just a partial glimpse, but this is the most we’ve seen of the show’s Dark Knight so far, and it looks PERFECT! If you’re like us, I’m sure you’re ready to see more, but we’ll all have to be patient as Gotham enters its final hiatus (which is already excruciating thanks to all of the cliffhangers last week’s episode left us on).

Gotham’s penultimate episode is called “They Did What?” and it airs at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. CST) on Thursday, April 18th. In it, the terrifying partnership of Nyssa al Ghul and Bane promises to wreak more havoc, leaving Commissioner Gordon with no choice but to rally his former enemies to come together to save Gotham. Meanwhile, Nyssa kidnaps Jim and Barbara’s newborn daughter and Bruce seems set on leaving Gotham—a choice that will point him closer towards his destiny while absolutely devastating Selina.

What we don’t know is the state of Alfred after he was brutally attacked by Bane. He…um, sure looked like his back might have been broken, which would definitely be in keeping with Bane. We'd just like to point out that this is now the second time the al Ghul family has been indirectly responsible for seriously harming Alfred. We’d love to see someone do something about that, so feel free to put that cowl on at any time, Bruce…

Gotham returns on Thursday, April 18 at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. CST) before concluding with its final episode on Thursday, April 25th. For the latest Gotham news, features and conversation, click here.
