The winners have been announced in the 23^rd Annual Webby Awards…and DC is among them! We’ve been given two awards, both in the category of Social Media – Entertainment. The first was awarded by the Webbys’ distinguished team of judges, but the second is due entirely to you!

Three weeks ago, we asked for your support in helping us win the “People’s Voice” award in our category by voting for us. We asked, and you responded, voting us into first place despite some intense competition. It’s something that would have been impossible without all of your unwavering support, and we’re truly humbled by your efforts. Thank you for continuing to be the best comic book fans—heck, the best fans period—out there.

If this is the first time you’re hearing about any of this, the Webby Awards are a yearly honor presented by the Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences that are designed to honor the best in digital media (we’re talking websites, games, apps, etc.). This year’s awards received more than 13,000 entries from 70 countries, and of all these, less than 10% were chosen as nominees.

With such a small pool of nominees, even getting nominated was a real honor. But you helped us get the win. Thank you very much and we look forward to another great year of talking comics, movies, TV and all things superheroes with you!
