Debut of New Bat-Team of Tynion IV, Daniel, Miki, Morey, and Cowles a Hit with Fans
Second Printing Available January 29

It’s a new year and, following the intense events of “City of Bane,” you’d think that both Batman and Gotham City have earned a well-deserved break from all the chaos, right?

Guess again.

Writer James Tynion IV, artist Tony S. Daniel, inker Danny Miki, colorist Tomeu Morey, and letterer Clayton Cowles have other plans for the Dark Knight and his city, as seen by the recently released Batman #86, which features part one of the story “Their Dark Designs.”

And it looks like Bat fans aren’t interested in a break either and want more, as issue #86 is returning to press for a second printing and will be available to retailers and digitally on Wednesday, January 29, 2020.

Hailed by the press as “…a bold and fast-paced start to the next phase of Bruce Wayne’s life,” and “a fresh story for a new decade,” Batman is picking up the pieces of his world after defeating Bane and following the death of trusted friend and confidant Alfred Pennyworth. Batman has a new plan for Gotham, but in order to fulfill it, he’s got to go through Deathstroke, who’s returned under a mysterious contract involving a new villain, The Designer.

And that could change everything!

Don’t miss your chance to get in on this new chapter of Batman’s life when issue #86, part one of “Their Dark Designs,” returns to stores on January 29, 2020.
