With the upcoming “Broken Promises” storyline, the TITANS are about to experience a time of change, and surprisingly the biggest change is coming to its leader Slade Wilson, a.k.a. Deathstroke.
 
Lex Luthor has had an incredibly difficult time of it lately, what with fighting master assassin Deathstroke, avoiding being eaten by Gorilla Grodd, and meeting Death herself.
 
TITANS’ “Family Reunions” storyline kicked off last week in #28. The issue gives us a peek into Deathstroke’s ultimate plan for the team, as well as revelations about the promise he made to each member.
 
“With Titans #27, the final pieces of Deathstroke’s team are now in place, which means we finally get to see Roy in action as a Titan again. Unfortunately for him, when you’re high, fighting isn’t easy. And you can also make mistakes.
 
Later this year, the TITANS ongoing series returns, courtesy of writer Eric Wallace and artist Fabrizio Fiorentino, with a new direction.
 
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, but one of the coolest parts of my job is being able to swing by editorial and see new pages as they come in.
