Dead Ahead: iZombie Enters its Final Season

Zombies may not die, but sadly, TV shows about them eventually do.

iZombie (2015 - 2019)

From the executive producers of Veronica Mars, iZombie stars Rose McIver (Masters of Sex, Once Upon a Time) as Olivia "Liv" Moore, a medical resident on the fast track to a perfect life...until she's turned into a zombie. Now stuck between half-alive and undead, Liv transfers to the city morgue to reluctantly access the only thing that allows her to maintain her humanity—human brains. But there are side effects to Liv's new diet. With each brain she consumes, she experiences flashes of the corpse's memories—including, at times, clues as to how they were killed.

If you’re a fan of iZombie, The CW’s just-returned adaptation of the classic Vertigo comic, then you know the key role that food plays on the show.

Five Things to Look Forward To This Season on iZombie

The second season of iZombie is well underway, and if the first two episodes are any indication, this one may be even better than the last. Blaine’s human again! Major’s hunting zombies! Liv’s roomie is a spy!

DC All Access - #DCTV - iZombie Creator Rob Thomas On Going "Full Zombie"

Who's ready for some all-new #DCTV?! iZombie, the upcoming series based on the best-selling Vertigo comic, debuts March 17th on The CW. Curious what to expect? Then be sure to watch this exclusive DC All Access interview with iZombie co-creator Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars), who discusses the differences between this show's zombies and others you may have seen, how they found the perfect zombie lead, and why they chose to stray from the comic book storyline.

TV ALERT: An Early Look at iZombie
With new trailers for Gotham, Constantine and The Flash hitting the web last week, along with your first look at Ben Affleck’s batsuit and the explosive finale for Arrow, you could be forgiven for forgetting about DC Entertainment’s fourth new TV show to be greenlit for the 2014-2015 TV season—iZombie. Especially since The CW hasn’t yet released a trailer for it. However, that doesn’t mean we haven’t gotten a taste of what it’ll look like.
