With the upcoming “Broken Promises” storyline, the TITANS are about to experience a time of change, and surprisingly the biggest change is coming to its leader Slade Wilson, a.k.a. Deathstroke.
"This issue is all about doors opening and closing. For Deathstroke, his mission to free the Mad Hatter and rescue Wavelength (Allegra Garcia) was a success, but his team trusts him less now that ever before.
TITANS’ “Family Reunions” storyline kicked off last week in #28. The issue gives us a peek into Deathstroke’s ultimate plan for the team, as well as revelations about the promise he made to each member.
Things continue to heat up on the BRIGHTEST DAY side of things, as the Hawks cross paths with the Star Sapphires, Max Lord’s plans continue to come together and “New Guardians” concludes. But don’t take my word for it.
“With Titans #27, the final pieces of Deathstroke’s team are now in place, which means we finally get to see Roy in action as a Titan again. Unfortunately for him, when you’re high, fighting isn’t easy. And you can also make mistakes.
"With Roy back on drugs and haunted by Lian's death, he's fallen into an emotional abyss. Broken inside and making all sorts of bad decisions, he's now a perfect fit for these dark Titans.
