Arrow: Don't Call it a Rebuild

Oftentimes in sports, when an organization is struggling and has a string of bad years, they’ll do what’s called a rebuild—trading guys away in order to get pieces back that they feel can develop and complement some existing players into a winning product years down the line.  It’s often a touchy subject, as most organizations never want to admit they’re in rebuild mode and the fans don’t want to have to “suffer” through the growing pains of young players and a team that can be a mess for the next few seasons.

Arrow: One Angry Vigilante

In the words of Larry David, tonight’s episode was “prettyyyy, prettyyyyy, prettyyyy, pretty good…”

If you’ve followed my column this season, you’ve probably learned that I’m a fan of “B” list characters. There’s just something about them. I think it stems from being a kid and noticing that a lot of the “smaller” characters always had some of the coolest costumes. The other factor was that there was always a mystery to them. They weren’t the main guys, so you never really knew much about them in the pre-internet days.

Arrow: There's No Crying in Superhero'ing

Not too shabby of an episode.

There were a couple of interesting things happening there…

First off, Evelyn takes on a bigger role—stepping out from the background and moving into the foreground of the recruits.

Up until this episode, the “stronger” personalities of the other team members sort of kept Artemis as an afterthought.  But some of the events in the episode seemed to propel her to the focal point of the episode.

Which, actually, I had mixed feelings about and I’m curious to know what you guys think.  Let me explain…
