No joke, the Scribblenauts Unmasked – A DC Comics Adventure team has made us laugh out loud with some of their takes on classic DC Comics characters. But we’re not the only ones laughing when it comes to their latest—the iconic cover of Batman #251.

Containing the classic Joker story, “The Joker’s Five Way Revenge,” Batman #251 marked the Joker’s return after a multi-year absence and represented a return to the darker, more psychotic version of the character after Cesar Romero’s campier take in the Batman TV show. Written by Denny O’Neil, the issue and its cover were drawn by Neal Adams, who is now known as one of comics’ definitive Joker artists.

With over 650 different DC Comics villains, you know the Clown Prince of Crime will make his mark in Scribblenauts Unmasked. As for our team of clever cover redesigners, they’ve made their mark on the covers to Batman #1, The New 52’s Justice League #1 and Showcase #4. Join us on Monday for their final take on a classic DC Comics image. And of course, don’t forget to pick up Scribblenauts Unmasked – A DC Comics Adventure this weekend for Wii U, Nintendo 3DS or PC.
