Arkham has been the home to some truly nefarious characters. The Joker, Two-Face, the Riddler, Bane… But it’s never been the home to any dragons. Until now, that is.

Yesterday, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and GungHo Online Entertainment, Inc. announced that Batman: Arkham Origins is coming to the mega-popular mobile game Puzzle & Dragons for a very limited time.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with it Puzzle & Dragons is ridiculously popular in Japan (with over 20 million downloads) and has a growing, devoted fanbase in the United States. A unique, highly addictive and totally free-to-play “Match-3” mobile puzzle game with a monster-collecting twist, players assemble teams of five monsters, then string together combinations of orbs to power their monsters’ attacks. In addition, players can collect eggs from defeated monsters or from Egg Machines which can be used to build or power-up their team.

It may sound complicated, but it’s really quite simple, and the best way to get a sense of how it works is to start playing. Fortunately, for Batman fans, there’s never been a better time! Starting today, players can enter a special Batman: Arkham Origins dungeon where they’ll come face to face with the Joker and gain the opportunity to add heroes such as Batman, Robin and Catwoman to their team from a special in-game Egg Machine.
