A Black Hawk Heist?
The truck being robbed in the beginning is owned by Black Hawk Squad Security in a nod to the classic Blackhawk Squadron—a comic team that was created during WW2 and has been a popular fixture of the DC Universe ever since. We have yet to know whether or not Black Hawk Squad Security is a sister company to Starling City’s Blackhawk Squad Protection Group.
Meet Leonard Snart
With a sneer, one of The Flash’s greatest villains makes his debut and we couldn’t be happier. He often appears as one of, if not the leader of, a group informally known as the Rogues—an allusion that appears in the episode of the title itself. The man Snart first tests the gun on—the man who stole it from Star Labs is Basil Nurblin—known in the comics as Colonel Computron.

Kahndaq Awaits You
The diamond on display in the museum comes from a Middle Eastern country with a long history in the pages of DC. The curator of the Central City Museum is Dexter Myles. Sound familiar? He will one day be the curator of The Flash Museum.
Cold Meets Heat
There’s only one pyro in the world of The Flash who goes by the name of Mick...
