Today in Times Square, on ABC's Good Morning America, contemporary artist Nathan Sawaya unveiled his newest art installation by signaling for Batman. The life-size, fully functional Bat-Signal is built from thousands of tiny LEGO bricks and is a replica of the one seen in the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Towering over 7-feet-high, the iconic floodlight that Commissioner Gordon uses in times of trouble, this brick Bat-Signal is built out of more than 75,000 LEGO bricks. It took the artist and his team more than five weeks to create and will be making a few stops across the country, including at WonderCon in the DC Comics booth, before joining his wildly popular touring exhibition, THE ART OF THE BRICK: DC COMICS.
