In this issue of Astro City, The Drama Queen seeks revenge on Jack-in-the-Box for the murder of her grandfather, Mister Drama! Drama was a former amateur actor turned villain, who had many times been thwarted by Jack in his schemes for power and money. Then one night he disappears, leaving his wife and daughter in ruins.

Two generations later, the same rage against the Jack-in-the-Box lives on in his granddaughter, who has become The Drama Queen! As she acts to destroy Jack she will have to realize that there may be another side to the story.
