Everything you know about the Multiverse is about to change, as Martian Manhunter uncovers a shocking truth in this exclusive preview of this week’s JUSTICE LEAGUE #16.

The Multiverse is massive and complex, full of near infinite potential and possibilities. Rich, teeming worlds full of life abound, all existing in delicate balance and harmony. It’s mind-blowing in its scope. And it’s all about to change.

In “Escape from Hawkworld,” the exciting and absolutely critical Justice League storyline that finds Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter and John Stewart on an unexpected mission to rescue the Martian Keep from the depths of Thanagar Prime, the Justice League has found itself at odds with pretty much everybody. Thanagar’s winged guards, the Green Lantern Corps, even Kendra’s previous reincarnation, Shayera Hol, all want the invading Justice Leaguers in prison or dead. Even more alarming, what the League is about to uncover will make their current predicament seem like a walk on a beach (albeit a beach teeming with angry aliens and mace-wielding winged warriors). It turns out the Martian Keep wasn’t just being held against her wishes—she was also being forced to will all of Thanagar Prime into existence using the powerful absorbascon.

That’s right, Thanagar Prime is literally a figment of her imagination, and now that the gravely weakened Martian Keep is near death, the lie that Thanagar Prime was built on is about to be exposed in the most dramatic, most dangerous way possible. And that’s just the start of the revelations! The Martian Keep has plenty more to reveal, including a shocking truth about our Multiverse, what it means for the future and J’onn’s pivotal role in it all in this exclusive first look at Wednesday’s JUSTICE LEAGUE #16.
