Alex Ross

Alex Ross is one of the world's most pre-eminent and well-respected comic book artists. His big break came in 1993 with Marvels, a limited series that took a realistic look at Marvel super heroes by presenting them from the point of view of an ordinary man. Ross followed this up with the best-selling KINGDOM COME for DC Comics, followed by work on SUPERMAN, BATMAN, WONDER WOMAN which is collected in WORLD'S GREATEST SUPER-HEROES and UNCLE SAM for Vertigo. His most recent interior artwork for DC includes the epic series JUSTICE featuring the Justice League of America which he co-wrote with Jim Krueger. He currently co-writes the adventures of JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA with Geoff-Johns and paints cover artwork for the monthly BATMAN & SUPERMAN titles. Ross has also applied his artistic skills to outside projects with comic book roots, including a limited-edition promotional poster for the 2002 Academy Awards, as well as covers for TV Guide.
