DV8: GODS AND MONSTERS #1
The fan-favorite series DV8 returns with the eight-part "Gods and Monsters" arc written by critically acclaimed writer Brian Wood (DEMO, DMZ, NORTHLANDERS) with art by up-and-comer Rebekah Isaacs (Drafted). In their short history, the mismatched band of superpowered losers, freaks and masochists of DV8 have seen a lot and done even more, but it's nothing compared to this. As Gem Antonelli (a.k.a. Copycat) is debriefed in a holding cell, the story of how eight troubled teenagers were briefly gods to a prehistorical world unfolds against the backdrop of a cataclysmic disaster.

DV8: GODS AND MONSTERS #3
In "Chemical Chords" part 3 of 8, the superhuman Hector (a.k.a. Powerhaus) is found sprawled across the floor of a primitive hut in the throes of some pretty serious herbal hallucinogens. It's not shocking, though, as his power is one that converts ambient emotion into mass – but now it's overloading his system! When the others seek him out, they find that Hector's got some serious demons he's trying to block out in this tragic tale of misuse – and overuse – of power.

DV8: GODS AND MONSTERS #5
Rachel Goldman and Michael Heller could not be a more mismatched pair. One's a beautiful and aloof vinyl-clad it-girl and the other's literally a dog-boy in stinky jeans and a biker jacket. But they end up together, adopted by the same tribe of nomads, and on opposite ends of the class spectrum: Rachel (a.k.a. "Sublime") is worshipped and adored while Michael (a.k.a. "Evo") spends each day in forced humiliation. In this strange and dangerous world, are team loyalties a factor at all? "The Beautiful People" part 5 of 8 is a harsh look at an ugly reality.

DMZ VOL. 9: M.I.A.
After the shattering events of HEARTS AND MINDS, M.I.A. takes Matty to a remote and desolate section of the city. Self-exile forces him to take a good, hard look at himself and his conduct since he entered the DMZ, and he doesn't like what he's seeing. His discovery presents him with an opportunity that he's tempted to take, but is the price too high? This volume collects issues #50-54 and includes a pinup gallery with art by Jim Lee, Dave Gibbons, Eduardo Risso and others.

DV8: GODS AND MONSTERS #2
The acclaimed writer of DMZ and NORTHLANDERS takes his first creative stab at the WildStorm Universe! To call the superpowered girl known as Bliss "edgy" is a massive understatement. Like all the DV8 kids. she's a creature with primal powers and in her case, she's the giver of either pain or pleasure. Now, as the "goddess" Bliss to an all-female band of warriors, she sees potential in her adopted tribe and sets out to tip the balance of power in their favor. Don't miss part 2 of this 8-issue miniseries telling the story of how eight teenagers ruled a world.

DV8: GODS AND MONSTERS #4
Matthew Callahan (a.k.a. "Threshold") has always considered himself team leader – the alpha dog, the perfect warrior, the awesome Super Hero in the (slightly fascist) uniform of leather and molded rubber. He's always in control. Always barking out orders. But when he's taken down by a primitive warrior armed with a simple wooden stick, he realizes he's got a few things yet to learn. You don't have to be either a god or a monster in this strange new world...you can be like Matthew and strive to be both.

DV8: GODS AND MONSTERS #6
"Teenage Riot" finds the DV8 kids in full conflict with each other for the first time since crash-landing on this world. Bliss's tribe of female warriors is on the march, and she's set her sights on one of the other Deviants. In a blistering, lethal strike, she removes one of the players from the battlefield…but which one?
